The Subway Audit: Airport Edition

Come with me for another “The Subway Audit” series!

Hey there, and welcome back to The Subway Audit! Today we will cover a stylish casual chic airport look, which is super exciting!

For the newbies here: Each week, I’ll pick out a standout look to break down. My goal? To dish out some inspiring outfit inspo straight from the streets of the city that never sleeps! I’ll be chatting about style, mixing fabrics, layering, and all those cool colour combos that catches my eye. The subway is like a treasure trove of fashion, and I can’t wait to share these style trends with you!

I’ll do my best to find the exact clothes and accessories featured, but sometimes it’s like playing detective, especially with branded stuff. Don’t worry though, I’ll find the closest matches online. Let’s dive into our look of the week! P.S.: This week’s post is slightly shorter due to my trip, but next one we will have more references for you!

This week’s look will be quick, but it comes to you with love, and from a different place. For the past week I have been working from Orlando at my family’s house and I had the opportunity to spot some cool outfits on my way there. Let’s say it was an “air commute” remote working.

While waiting to pass through TSA, I couldn’t help but notice a pair of stunning burgundy Adidas Samba sneakers. Instantly, I knew they would be the centrepiece of this week’s fashion audit. Looking more into the look, I took in the entirety of the outfit, and everything fell seamlessly into place: the sneakers paired effortlessly with bell jeans, a burgundy bodysuit, and a linen t-blazer in a neutral tone, accented by a stack of three gold necklaces. The look radiated casual chic aesthetic in every detail. To complete the look, I chose a leather bag that perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic, adding the final touch of elegance. You can find the bag references I found bellow.

And here we are, at the end of our differentiated Subway (Airport) Audit! I can’t describe how grateful I am to be sharing these with you. It is so fun to build these looks and bring in a glimpse of what I see in my day to day commute to work! Please subscribe if you want to be updated on next content and on this series.
